I have ordered from Rondo before. I do NOT have this product but felt compelled to create an opposing review to the moron who gave it one star because the package showed a photo of a guitar on it and that ruined the surprise for christmas. are you freaking kidding me?!??! what the heck does that have to do with the product itself?!?! just a ridiculous comment. I own five rondo music guitars. every single one cost less than $100 - I also have a 1988 PRS that is worth 2-3 grand and guess what I play? the rondo guitars (in all fairness because of tonal variety). The PRS is OF COURSE an exquisite instrument in comparison but rondo guitars are incredible for the money. seriously, absolutely incredible. no, I am not completely happy with my rondo guitars but for the money, I am absolutely delighted!! the finishes are perfect, the necks need adjustment but feel good, the pickups are very good (really surprised me) - I have yet to replace any of the them yet. overall, this company has amazing bang for the buck. ignore captain moron's review and go by other reviews instead.

I don't know why previous user had such a bad review about this product.
I am 100 % satisfied with product. I would have been happy if i would have even paid 3 times it's value.
I am sure one who knows how to tune and play guitar will love it.....
However it is possible that :
> previous user might have tried to play guitar as it arrived... without tuning it..

I paid online for the guitar on Jan 18th and received it today
on Jan 20th. It was very fast shipment. The guitar is perfect,
it's beautiful, nice wood finish and sounds [...] with everything
mentioned in the advertisement, guitar case, instructional DVD, including
online subscriptions to guitar lessons. They even included some picks too.
I can't believe I was about to pay over $200 for a guitar of the exact same
quality here in my home town, and then pay an extra 15-20 dollars to have
it restrung to left handed. What a deal!!!

this sx mentor guitar left handed, was delivered earlier than scheduled, that was a plus. thats where the goodness stopped. the nut was not positioned correctly and the string grooves were two deep, the bidge likewise. the tuning nobs were lose in the head, i tightened them down made no difference.even tho the guitar shows in tune itsound like crap.

If you are buying this as a gift, make sure to have it shipped where the recipient won't be able to see it. The box SCREAMS exactly what's inside. I see I'm not the only person who's had this experience.
Thanks for ruining a Christmas surprise. I won't be back.
